Infant Teacher Assistant

Infants don’t need lessons to learn to walk or talk but they have a desire to practice on their own and with responsive peers and adults. Infant care is extremely important to us. Safety and hugs are a top priority in our nursery. Every baby is unique and has different needs. We are here to ensure these needs are met in a clean and nurturing setting. 

Job Summary

Assisting the lead teacher with infants’ daily tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Diaper Changing
  • Feeding
  • Child Supervision
  • Cleaning up
  • Preparing for naps
  • And any other duty assigned by the Lead teacher

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent  
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  •  Employment or volunteer experience indicating an ability to follow, and give, directions effectively 
  •  A compassionate, nurturing attitude 
  •  Effective written & verbal communication skills  
  • Desire to work in a constantly changing environment  
  • Comfortable using and learning new technology  
  • Willing to complete required childcare training 
  • Able to pass background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Swahili and English 

Wages

  • $11 her hour

Day: Monday to Friday 

Time : 

  • 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and
  • 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM
