Infant Teacher Assistant
Infants don’t need lessons to learn to walk or talk but they have a desire to practice on their own and with responsive peers and adults. Infant care is extremely important to us. Safety and hugs are a top priority in our nursery. Every baby is unique and has different needs. We are here to ensure these needs are met in a clean and nurturing setting.
Job Summary
Assisting the lead teacher with infants’ daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Diaper Changing
- Feeding
- Child Supervision
- Cleaning up
- Preparing for naps
- And any other duty assigned by the Lead teacher
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Employment or volunteer experience indicating an ability to follow, and give, directions effectively
- A compassionate, nurturing attitude
- Effective written & verbal communication skills
- Desire to work in a constantly changing environment
- Comfortable using and learning new technology
- Willing to complete required childcare training
- Able to pass background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Swahili and English
Wages
- $11 her hour
Day: Monday to Friday
Time :
- 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and
- 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM
